The consortium forms part of the Government's Low Carbon Industrial Strategy and is at the forefront of enhancing manufacturing capability by assisting members to increase quality, reliability and efficiency and reducing costs and complexity. It delivers this by taking laboratory tested processes into prototype real size precommercial manufacture with the necessary validation and accreditation processes.
